Hi, my name is Eric Fescenmeyer. Currently, I’m working as a Design Director for a branding & design firm .  I also do industrial design work for a company called Kassen Lifestyle – right now it they are focusing on furniture design, but I hope to stretch out a bit more in the future.

I think a designer is a person who solves problems in an elegant manner. An Artist creates beauty and an engineer solves complex problems. A designer stands in between those two and connects them. It’s also important that a designer think from the user’s perspective to really craft something of note that is a valid improvement over what the World already has – because we don’t need more pointless stuff.

This blog kind of reflects the things that pique my interest – not everything, but a lot of it! What are you in for? Well, you’ll probably see some discourse on human interaction, how we’ll be living in the future (not too far in the future, though), Architecture, Graphic Design, Branding & Packaging and some strategy ruminations. You’ll also see some netlabel and DJ mix reviews. Some things I’ll throw up here I feel need a bit of commentary; some I just link to and some are just images that have ‘something’ I want to keep track of.
